ColombiaSixth Issue1863, 10c. blue, type 10, wide to large margins, tied by Bogotá oval handstamp on envelope to Neuville sur Saône (France), transferred for maritime carriage to the British P.O. with "Santa Martha" single circle datestamp (1.12.1864) on reverse, with London transit and arrival as accompanying backstamps. Front showing Anglo-French "GB/1F60c" accountancy marking and "8" décimes due marking. Tear on front skillfully patched and some soiling, not detracting from this, one of only four complete covers recorded in this issue addressed to a transatlantic destination, all being directed to France.
