ColombiaSecond Issue1860, 5c. rose lilac, stone A, in combination with 1859, 10c. bistre brown, stone A, fresh examples boasting ample to huge margins, both tied to piece by "Bogotá" oval handstamp. Stamps lifted for examination and hinged back to place. A very important franking as, to our knowledge, only six fragments and no covers exhibit the first issue in conjunction with the second issue; such mixed frankings have been absent in several of the most important collections ever formed of classic Colombia.
