BulgariaPalace Mail1895, May 18. Cover endorsed "Grand-Maréchal/de la Cour/de S.A.R. le Prince/de Bulgarie" sent registered from Sofia to Manchester, bearing "Small Lions" 25st. in pair, tied by small "Palais/Sophia" c.d.s., applied in blue as encountered in the early period only, showing "Principauté de Bulgarie" registration marking having been very rarely applied in blue, London transit and arrival c.d.s. alongside. The cover was found opened in London and was officialy resealed. One of the most spectacular Palace-Mail covers, full of character, unique in this combination. Cert. Hitzler. Mi. 34. Photo
