Latin AmericaMexico1864, Saltillo. 4r. green, 232-1864, 3rd Period, a large margined diagonal half used as 2 reales on cover from Parras de la Fuente to San Luis Potosí, tied by sub-office "Parras/Julio 13" framed datestamp (Schatzkès fig. 1414). 500 examples of the 4r. were consigned to Saltillo, being fewer subconsigned to Parras de la Fuente, where the 4r. bisect was used in August 1865 and March 1866.
