Latin AmericaMexico1865, 3c. deep brown, invoice "157.-1865" to Mexico City, fourth period with just 100 examples invoiced, touched at top and base, printed on horizontally laid paper, probably watermarked and made by La Croix Frères, as was utilised by the 1866-67 Maximilian recess printed issue and the 1867-68 Suez Canal Company issue; cleanly cancelled by "Franco/Mexico" c.d.s.
