Latin AmericaMexico1856, Hidalgo Issue. A specialized collection mounted on album pages, containing over 350 stamps mainly used, featuring shades, a wide array of cancellations including several scarce usages, few better districts, multiples used (incl. blocks of four) and unused for the 1r., 4r. & 8r. Enriched by 20 covers including 4r. bisect usages (4, of which one with the official oval handstamp of Lagos); it also contains some examples of the 1867 issue. A very unusual assembly in generally very fine condition. Careful examination is highly recommended for this valuable lot. Photo
