Latin AmericaGuatemala1871, 20c. rose-carmine, couple of imperfections at left and foot, used to pay the overseas rate per half ounce effective since the end of January 1872, on reverse of 5 July 1872 entire letter endorsed "pr. Steamer via Panama" from Guatemala to New York, tied by numeral "1" oval cancel, with dispatch c.d.s. alongside, together with "20 U.S. Notes" c.d.s. on front.
