French Colonies1859-1905, an outstanding collection with hundreds of stamps used and unused and including duplication, featuring General Issues complete used with cancellation interest, Gabon with 1886 first issue mint complete (certs. for the highest denominations), 1888-89 15 on 1fr. (signed Brun) & 25 on 10c. used, 1889 imperforate typeset two-values used (cert.), Nossi-Bé with 1889 5c on 10c., 25 on 30c. & 25 on 40c.; British Guiana incl. early provisional surcharged values; St. Pierre et Miquelon with 1886 provisional typeset 10c. on piece; Sudan with 1894 0,15 on 75c.& 0,25 on 1fr., both used and signed; Senegal with early surcharged examples; Benin overprinted early values including the second issue with 75 on 15c. (red, signed) used; Reunion incl. better values from 1885 such as 1891 75c. perf. & imperf. used; Diego Suarez with 1890-91 litho issues used or unused, 1891 5c. on 20c. with inverted overprint used, 1892 30c. (red, signed) & 35c. (cert.), postage dues with 1892 60c. & 1fr. used; Madagascar incl. some better early surcharged values used, 1891 typeset incl. the 5fr. used, 1896 oval surcharge on "Sage" with 5c. on 1c., 25c. on 3c. & 25c. on 40c. (the first two used and signed, the third unused but defective); Indochina with provisional issues for Phnom-Penh and Saigon used; New Caledonia incl. 1881-83 better used values. Several other colonies include the "Sage" or "Groupe" sets, used or unused. Also further duplication with material gathered in stockcards. An extraordinary assembly formed with taste, being accompanied by 10 Behr certificates, with many of the scarcer values being signed by renowned experts including Behr, Brun, Calves Champion and Roumet.
