France1871-75, 25c. blue, small figures, type I, "face to face" tête-bêche pair, in vibrant shade, quite well centred with original gum. Gum wrinkle on back, of no importance, not stated in the certificate and only mentioned for accuracy. Very faint and tiny tone spot in one perforation, with other being short at right, still though very attractive and rare. Cert. Calves, signed Em. Diena, Fulpius and Von der Weid.
