Austrian Levant1866-79, a selected group of seven covers, including Trebizond with an extraordinary and probably unique franking made up of 1864 2s., 3s. (3), 10s. (5) and 15s., all cancelled in blue, of great visual impact; Jerusalem with two covers, one registered addressed to a very rare destination, Russia, bearing 1867 10s. (2) & 15s. (2), the other with single 1867 10s. to Constantinople; a visually attractive cover with 1864 5s. (5) neatly tied by "Lettere Arrivate/Col Vapore/Dal Levante" three-lines handstamp; two covers from Smirne, one with small type c.d.s. bearing 1867 2s., 3s. (2) & 15s., the other with 1867 3s. (2) & 10s. (4) with "Lloyd Agenzie" c.d.s.; cover from Constantinople franked by 1864 3s. & 1867 25s. in a scarce mixed issues franking.
