1867, 3s. greyish violet, a fine vertical pair paying a single weight envelope to Stockholm (Sweden), tied by "Christiania/27 I 68" c.d.s.'s on dispatch, backstamped on arrival. Envelope roughly opened at top, with portions of paper missing, being amended with paper on reverse to improve its appearance. A rare franking. Mi. 7.
