1859, 1r. blue, a well margined copy displaying a strong indigo shade, showing a plate flaw featuring colourless spot above ''E'' of ''Real'' resembling an accent, whose position in the sheet has not been determined, used on single weight cover for a distance between 25 and 100 miles from Trujillo dated 3 September 1859 to Maracaibo, tied by ''0'' numeral handstamp in red from the pre-adhesive period. Of eye-catching appeal, being one of only three covers recorded bearing this cancellation in red, further enhanced by the, to our knowledge, only known usage of this prominent flaw on cover. Cert.
