1881-87, an interesting balance collection comprising of hundreds of stamps used and unused, mainly dedicated to the first issue, cleanly and beautifully mounted on pages including significant multiples mint and used with first issue used examples featuring 1c. block of four, 3c. strip of three, 2c. & 5c. in strips of four, combination frankings on piece with 3c. (2) and 20c. (2),  small piece of cover bearing 20c. tied in blue (ex "Hispanola" collection; although being a fragment, only two complete covers are known with this denomination), early and late usages, extensive plate studies and varieties. The first issue is further enriched by one cover and one cover front to Paris and London with pair of 5c., as well as an additional single weight cover front to London featuring 3c. & 7c. An exceptional assembly in generally very fine condition. Viewing highly recommended.
