1881, 1c. vermilion, pair from the left of the sheet, roughly separated on two sides, refulgent colour, tied to cover to Port-au-Prince, by "Les Cayes/18 Nov 82/Haiti" c.d.s. which repeated alongside. Despite faults, an impressive marginal multiple on cover representing a very rare combination to pay the 2c. internal rate. Scott 1. Ex Sabbatini.
