Entire letter from Santiago de Cuba to Paris, franked by Cuba 1879 25c. ultramarine, two pairs (one affected by couple of small tears), tied by blue c.d.s. on dispatch, showing red “Ligne D/Paq. Fr. N° 3” c.d.s. (Salles fig. 1471) in centre. Endorsed “p. Olindo Rodríguez”, then on her last voyage in the Caribbean area. A rare issue on cover. Edifil 53.
