This company was formed to “carry into effect the decision of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee and the Council of Labour and Defence of 1923, granting to the Volunteer Fleet and to the Central Board of the State Mercantile Marine the monopoly of the emigrant and immigrant business in the USSR”. The Russian Russflot founded this joint venture with the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, the Holland-America Line and Cunard Steamship Ltd. Only 400 share were issued. Text in Russian and English.
