Banco Nacional de S. Carlos, Accion 2000 Reales. 2 Junio 1782. #135304. The Banco Nacional de Carlos was licensed by a Royal decree as a state bank in 1782. It was active from 1782 to 1829. In 1829 the company's assets were transferred into the newly established Banco de San Fernando. After 1856 it operated under the name of Banco de Espana (Bank of Spain). It was nationalized in 1962.
