The company was formed to build a railway from Rome to Fiumicino (today Rome's main airport). The line is 11 km long and connects Ponte Galera with Fiumicino. It was opened in 1878 and was taken over by the state in 1882. Decorative and rare five shares certificate. With five vignettes. In the middle the goddess Roma showing the way and the phrase “Resurrected and strong I return to you, oh sea!”. Four images of Rome's harbour “Portus Romanus”, Ostia, with boats and the planned railway. Fold repaired with liquid paper. VF.
