Noord-Brabantsch-Duitsche Spoorweg-Maatschappij (Boxtel-Wesel). One Share 250 Gulden, Rotterdam, 15 Août 1869, #7179. The North Brabantsch-German Railway Company linked the Dutch Boxtel via Uden, Veghel, Gennep, Goch and Xanten to Wesel in Germany. It was built as the fastest connection between London and Berlin. In 1925 the railway was nationalized on both sides of the border. At the end of World War II the railway bridge at Wesel was destroyed by the retreating German Wehrmacht, putting an end to the German section. Very decorative item. VF.
