1899, Sept. 28. Cover to Svischtov (Bulgaria), bearing 1893-98 1b. light brown pair and 1 1/2b. black pair, these combined with postage dues 2b. emerald-green, each stamp cancelled by "28/9" manuscript date in violet, and accompanying "G. Filaret" in same colour at left, this being the southern station of Bucharest serving the southern routes (its postmarks are rarely found). Rouschouk transit and arrival on reverse. Mi. 99, 100.
