1880, Feb. 7. Envelope (somewhat reduced at right) from Craiova to Leipzig (Germany), bearing Second Bucharest print 10b. dark pale rose, diagonal half and pair, tied by "Bucuresci-Vercirova/Ambulanta N° 3" T.P.O. c.d.s. The correct postage was 25 bani and an attempt was made to utilize a 10b. bisect; after 1872 this practice was not permitted although sometimes mistakenly passed, in this case being disallowed as shown by the circular "T" tax mark and the crayoned "0,05" script indicating postage due. Very scarce, for both the bisect and the cancel, being very unusual by spelling out "Ambulanta" in full rather than abbreviated. Mi. 51.
