1856, 80c. green, a rejoined vertical pair, positions 14 & 19, showing mostly superb margins, with frame line of upper neighbouring stamp. Hardly apparent soiling on front and small thinnings, nevertheless an exceedingly rare rejoined multiple. Small quantities of the 80 c. value were found among the remainders in the late 19th century, these have been subsequently severed into singles (with multiples recorded only being two blocks of four and the famous "Ferrer" Block); extremely few pairs may have been rejoined.
