Santander. 1889, 10c. purple, a remarkable strip of three, imperforate at top, on piece of cover sent to Bucaramanga (Pascual Moreno correspondence), tied by neat violet two-lines handstamp "Colecturía de Hacienda/Pamplona". Tiny tear at top left margin and minor surface scuff affecting the middle adhesive, not detracting from not only the largest known used multiple of this value, but also the largest multiple either on piece or cover of this issue, further enhanced by the scarce cancellation.
