1845, 60r. black, worn impression, type II, a well margined copy applied on reverse and tied by manuscript on dispatch, on entire letter from Jaguary to Rio de Janeiro, dated 21 September 1849, carried via São Paulo with red cds applied in transit, this being an unusual feature on postal history of this issue. Stamp torn on opening, as usual, and repaired. According to our records, just two covers are recorded in this issue originating from Jaguary. Cert. Moorhouse. RHM 6. Ex Koester.
