1845, 30 r. black, worn impression, type II, vertical pair showing large balanced margins all round, tied by brown ''Guaraparim'' straight-line handstamp from the pre-adhesive period (type P-ES-1), on back of entire letter carried at single overland rate from Guarapari to Benevente (nowadays Anchieta). Dated 19 April 1851, being a late usage for this issue. Some cover faults and usual slight ageing. As far as we can say, this is the only cover recorded in this issue bearing this cancellation. Cert.
