J. Henry Meyer & Co. Certificate of 4'995 Shares. 11. April 1916. Nr. 11. After Antoine Borel’s death in 1915, his partner John Henry Meyer (1855-1921) took over the bank and changed its name to J. Henry Meyer & Co. Henry was treasurer of the San Francisco Cable Car. He later became Vice President and later its third President (1909-1921). This certificate of 4995 shares is by far the most important share certificate of the company as it represents J. Henry Meyers 99.9% majority in the bank. He has signed the share as President.
