Undated cover to Santiago, franked by Second London Printing 5c., cut slightly into at top, otherwise good margins, tied by mute of concentric rings with superb "MELIPILLA" straight-line handstamp (29mm) in blue at right. One of only two covers known from Melipilla bearing a postmark in blue, also taking into consideration the pre-adhesive period. Unlisted in the SFC catalogue.
