1921, Sept. 22, Experimental Flight. Large cover flown from Barranquilla to Giradot and then by train to Bogotá, paying the tariff for mail from the coast to the interior per 120 grams, making-up a franking of 2,40 pesos, with 30c. black on rose and 50c. pale green, each represented by single and pair, tied by "Sociedad Colombo-Alemana/De/Transportes Aéreos/(Compañía Anónima)" handstamp. The national postage was paid on front with 5c. and 20c., which were tied on arrival by framed datestamp. A spectacular and most scarce franking. Scott C14, C16.
