1921, Oct. 6, Regular Scheduled Flight. Large envelope endorsed "p. Hidroavión" to Medellín, flown from Barranquilla to Puerto Berrío, thence by train to destination, bearing franking, on reverse, made-up by four examples and one-fifth -used as 10c.- of 50c. pale green, paying the $2,10 seven-times rate, tied by "Sociedad Colombo-Alemana/De/Transportes Aéreos/(Compañía Anónima)" handstamp; the required 21 centavos of the national postage were paid by 1c. and 20c. on front tied by framed datestamp of Medellín. Cover has some blemishes and franking with minor imperfections at top which in no way detract from this remarkable and extraordinary usage. A gem of these issues. Cert. Rendon, signed Calves.
