1920, 10c. "Woman and Boy Watching Plane", tied by "CCNA/Agencia Barranquilla" ribbon handstamp in purple on piece of cover addressed to Mr. A. Pooley of "The Colombia Railways & Navigation Co. Ltd.", accompanied by National Post 5c. tied by "Agencia Postal Nacional/Barranquilla" framed datestamp in blue, which were applied on October 17. Despite faults, an item of great fascination and rarity as one of the very few surviving proofs of the flight of 17 October 1920 -only one cover is also recorded (see lot 1019)-. Cert.
