1849-50, 10c. bistre and 1fr. carmine, two examples, all paying a single weight cover from Paris to Valparaiso (Chile), carried by British packet via Panama, with stamps tied by "grille sans fin" with matching December 15th 1862 c.d.s., London transit alongside. All stamps with good margins except for one 1fr. adhesive which is slightly touched in upper left corner. A very rare first-issue cover addressed to an infrequent transatlantic destination. Cert.
