Two "Townsend" covers to United States, each endorsed "BY/H.W." denoting provenance from the Wilkins Antarctic Expedition, the earlier bearing Falkland Islands 1921-28 1/2d. and 2s., the other franked by 1921-28 2 1/2d., both showing South Shetlands (type B2) c.d.s., one featuring the code "C" inverted. Scarce mails carried at correct foreign rate.
