The "Marchand" Fabbrica Automobili Motociclette Biciclette, was one of the many automobile Companies that initially produced sewing machines and bicycles. From 1898, it produced the model "La Voiturelle" under license from the French producer Decauville, a 2-cylinder model with rear-wheel drive. (The same model was produced under the same license in Germany under the name Wartburg.) Later Marchand developed a front-wheel drive 4- and 6-cylinder engine with up to 60 hp.
