1880-1961. An important collection comprising hundreds of stamps used and unused, from the post-classic to the semi-modern period, including 1880 Bolívar high denominations with duplicates, an interesting range of varieties and cancellations such as pre-adhesive Páez postmark of Valera, 1899-1902 issue with 2b. used and unused, ´´1900´´ overprint on 25c. used and unused, 1900 ´´Bolívar Negro´´ used and unused (probably not being genuine), 1915-23 complete set used and unused with duplication, 1937 ´´Resellado´´ 3b. used and unused, with better later issues being represented as well; the Civil War issues include Carúpano virtually complete with a remarkable number of duplicates, reprints and multiples. The collection also includes 1862 ´´Libranzas´´ composite essays of unissued designs and other varieties, imperforates and multiples, as well as officials, telegraphs and some fiscals.
