1880, Large ´´Escuelas´´, 25c. rose red, a remarkable pair on scarce thin paper, showing rich colour, designs well centred for this issue showing 66 pearls each, featuring colourless flaw in ´´U´´ of ´´Escuelas´´ and double frame in oval surrounding the portrait, both at left, cancelled by oval administrative handstamp as well as in manuscript. Small acid ink erosion in centre and two small tears at right, of little significance for this very rare multiple, with its desirability being further enhanced by the fact of possessing outstandingly well preserved perforations for this stamp.
