Envelope from Veracruz to Portolín (Spain), bearing Mexico 10c. black (Veracruz, 50-74), tied by Veracruz cds, in combination with France 10c. bistre on rose and strip of three of 30 c., all cancelled by anchor lozenge matching Consular ´´Mexique/1-1´´ datestamp alongside with ´´Ligne-B/Paq Fr/N° 2´´ cds on back, being carried by the ´´Ville de St. Nazaire´´ to St. Nazaire and then conveyed to Santander (Spain). Backstamped on receipt. Some soiling and other minor imperfections, barely detracting from this rare combination cover which includes a most unusual French franking makeup to cover the single rate, which corresponds to a prepaid letter of 10 grams.
