1815, July 12. Entire letter from Bahia to Lisbon with conveyance of the Portuguese "Dourado" brig, carried at 120 r. double rate up to 1 oz which paid on dispatch with green "Pagou O Porte/Do Correyo" on back, accompanied by "Correyo Da Ba." on front, also in green. Annotated and signed as confirmation of receipt by the addressee as per the "Practical Instructions for the Assistant Agents". Oval "Franca" handstamp applied at Lisbon.
