1856, 1r. pale red to carmine vermilion, position 25, four examples with mostly good margins, showing large and impressive progressive printing flaw at top, due to the deterioration of the stone´s surface, and only encountered in this 1r. value (subtype 25A), with one stamp also including spectacular vertical red spot through bottom half of the design, being unique with these both plate flaws (ex Lee, with cert.
