" A wonderfully fresh and unusually cool nose (in the context of the vintage) offers up mature aromas of various red berries, anise, plenty of dried floral nuances and a hint of exotic spice...this is just now entering its peak phase and is a wine that should hold more or less at this level for another 20 years. I would add that Roumier made superb '05s and the Les Cras is only further proof of that." (94pts AM, Tasted Mar, 2023)
