Bottled 2000. Distilled and Bottled at Lagavulin Distillery, Port Ellen
Matured in Pedro Ximenez Cask. Good labelling. Level: very high shoulder.
"... Mouth: ah, beautiful. Sure it’s very sweet (the PX), but everything’s beautifully melted. Coffee, smoke, crystallized fruits (mostly orange, kumquat, quince). Lots of herbal tea, liquorice and ‘soft’ Xmas spices. I don’t know who’s responsible for crafting this, but it’s plain excellent job. I love it" (5 stars-Whiskyfun)
