Hong Kong in 2022 is a year of farewells. Throughout that year, we bid goodbye many times - bidding farewell to the treasured Jumbo Floating Restaurant, bidding farewell to the giant panda An An, bidding farewell to the neon signs... Numerous iconic landmarks vanished, many long-established businesses closed down, and things that were part of Hong Kongers' growth vanished with the passage of time. Finally, we said goodbye to both 2022 and the three-year-long pandemic. Striking a V-sign pose for photographs before “the last day” has become a classic ritual for Hong Kongers. This painting serves as the label for this whisky themed "Hong Kong Memories," commemorating the farewell to Hong Kong in 2022 and evoking collective reminiscence.
