1963 was the year of which Stanley P Morrison acquired the Bowmore Distillery. This bottle was released in 1993, 30 years later with a 1963 vintage to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ownership.
The ownership, however, was taken over by Suntory in 1994 with the acquisition of the Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd..
