Macallan 1990 Cask - #1068 Sherry hogshead *This offer is for the liquid inside the said barrel only.

Distilled by The Macallan Distillery January, 1990.
Cask number 1068.
Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Maturing in sherry hogshead.
Measured 136 RLA 48.49% as of 18th April 2018, producing around 194 bottles of 28-year-old Macallan at cask strength.
Lying in The Macallan bonded warehouse, Scotland.

Nose:
sweet toffee, tropical fruits and golden syrup

Palate:
surprisingly spicy compared to the sweet tone on the nose. Ginger, dried fruit with a thickness of maltiness.

Finish:
good length with a note of the barley sugar, while the ginger lingers.

Conclusion:
A beautiful expression of the traditional Macallan we know of with a hint of provocation.
