A mysterious & secret bottling from Gordon and MacPhail, this Glen Avon single malt was distilled in 1958 at an unnamed Speyside distillery and matured in first fill sherry hogsheads.

Nose: medium-bodied with notes of tree fruits and stone fruits, a touch of star anise and Sauternes with a herbal character
Palate: good body with a superb richness, there are notes of botrytized grapes with requisite sugar, also notes of malmsey and calvados
Finish: long and gracefully with rich fruit notes
