1983 Gould Campbell Port This is a delicious Vintage Port for which primary power has been replaced by the complex and reassuring notes of maturity. Deep dark red/black center, good legs, red rim with only modest signs of age. Strong blackberry and boysenberry, grapey, balanced, stones. Sweet and smooth, blackberry, nicely integrated alcohol, dusty, smoked bacon, balancing acidity and some tannin, great length (of dark red fruits). Fantastic Gould Campbell drinking well now, but still quite young in many ways, will last for another ten years at least. 75cl /20% 12 bottles
