1900 (10 Feb.) card used locally in Hankow, the reverse with a printed invitation for a lecture on photography by J. Mencarini. Also 1900 (16 May) card from Tientsin to Beijing, arriving on the same day. Photo





Juan Mencarini, was in 1905 commissioned to make an inventory of the postal archives. He made some reprints of the Large and Small Dragons from some original dies he discovered.
