1915 (27 Apr.) picture postcard to Wales bearing K.G.V. 4c. cancelled by "Amoy/A" c.d.s., showing Shanghai B.P.O. transit c.d.s. (5.1). The back of the postcard depicts a prisoner confined in an upright cage. Typically, when sending mail from Xiamen to the United Kingdom, it would be routed through Hong Kong for overseas transit. It is unusual for this particular piece to bypass Hong Kong and travel northward via Shanghai.


1915年廈門寄英國明信片1件，貼香港國王像4先1枚，銷廈門英國客郵局4月27日戳，經上海中轉，有上海5月1日英國客郵中轉戳，片背為背關在立籠中的犯人，郵戳清晰，保存完好，通常廈門寄英國會經香港中轉出海，此片不經香港而北上經上海不多見
