1842 (16 July) Silverlock entire letter to Chichester "via Marseilles", rated "2/8" in black ink with "india" in large oval, the reverse with London transit and Chichester arrival (9.11); some light soiling. Also 1843 (17 July) another letter from the same Silverlock correspondence but from Macao, rated "2/3" with London and Chichester (10.10) c.d.s. on the flap; fine.
