1947 (Mar.- June) a selection of six covers to U.S.A. with (25 Mar.) double registered to Kansas bearing $7700 franking tied by Shanghai c.d.s. with large boxed handstamp "air mail/double registered" struck in black (pays surface $1100, two times air $1900, double registration $2800); (16 Apr.) envelope to Canada bearing $6800 franking tied by Shanghai c.d.s., paying triple air rate; (28 Apr.) envelope to Chicago bearing $6800 franking tied by Peiping c.d.s. with Hong Kong transit and paying triple the air rate; (17 May) heavy envelope to North Carolina bearing $11,300 franking tied by Shanghai c.d.s., paying five time the air rate; (15 June) envelope express registered to Fargo bearing, on the reverse, $8900 franking tied by Shanghai c.d.s.; (12 May) and (30 June) single franking $3000 rate covers to New York and Berkley tied by Peiping or Shanghai c.d.s., this second cover used on the last day of this rate.
