Pays the second rate of 25c. surface, $1.58 to Europe and 25c. registration; rate 1.2.1.1. Also 1934 (20 Oct.) opened-out Air Orient envelope to Switzerland "per S/S 'Porthos'" and "French Air Mail Saïgon-Marseille" bearing 97c. franking (partly on reverse) tied by Shanghai c.d.s., underpaid and with boxed "T ......Ctmes" in purple with manuscript "32" and the two-line handstamp "Par Avion Saigon-Marseille et dela/de Marseilles" handstamp in purple; should have paid 25c. surface, 89c. air and 19c., underpaid by 16c.
